The hotel in Poznań, Poland, was designed with a ventilated façade made from Corten® expanded metal, creating a unified architectural envelope while serving both protective and design functions. The expanded metal provides an optimal balance of transparency, shading and natural ventilation of the façade system, contributing to its long-term durability.
The project used Patience expanded metal (110 × 52 × 24 × 2 mm) in Corten® steel, whose natural patina forms a stable protective layer without the need for additional coatings and with minimal maintenance requirements.
